I am unsure about your modem, but u can do the same on your own. Gain access to the web interface of the modem by typing 192.168.1.1 in the browser url bar. Enter admin/admin as username/password. In the resulting page, go carefully through the various options being listed. U should be able to find something termed ADSL modulation or DSL settings, in which u will be able to set the desired ADSL modulation.

If the post seems too confusing, i suggest u better wait for someone using the same modem to revert back.

thnxxx 4 ur reply but i hve already tried dis address i mean 192.168.1.1 but didn't get any option featuring ADSL modulation etc.Though there is a option named DSL home but the sub-sections under it are Management server configuration and the other is CWM parameters .......... no such option as DSl settings ........

Sorry mate. I have been searching high and low for a manual of this router, but sadly its nowhere to be found. Such details are presented in the modem manual (not the quick installation guide).

DELT stands for dual end line testing.

BSNL currently is on G.DMT mode. Hence it is better to keep the router in the same mode for a stabler connection.

Thanks for info.
presume the modem/router settings check both ends.
at BSNL end and customer's end.

My pleasure!! DELT is mainly used for testing the local loop and is done primarily by the BSNL personnel. Enabling DELT cause my modem to loose connectivity. A variation of the same known as SELT (S stands for Single) also stands.

Instead of having too many queries/doubts,
Select each Mod option.
( sometimes you will loose Internet connection !)
Or select auto mode.

Which ever works fine is suitable to you !!!
Adsl2 , adsl2+ bis etc. annex A etc.
feedback.
