All the download managers work fine for dataone. IDM is my personal preference too..![]()
I am using IDM now but DAP or flashget also good download manger.
i also using idm
Idm
IDM i get 2mb speeds, for some site rest of the sites it will be 1 mb to 512 kbps
IDM is best
yet another vote for IDM.i think a poll can be added to this thread with some popular download managers.
Hi guys I have a doubt!!! It might sound dumb but pls pardon me..
In Internet download Manager Build 6 which I have installed in my pc, how do we find or obtain the total time consumed for each download? (Ie. The download was completed in how much time?)
How to get this in idm? Because it just says "download complete" but does not say how much time elapsed totally...
I guess I've put forth my question correctly...
Its not a dumb question!! And as far as i know its not possible to know that in IDM.
Performance wise both IDM and DAP are comparable, but from experience I have seen that DAP cannot resolve php files into the corresponding zip or rar file whereas IDM can do that with the help of a special keystroke. In some storage archives the zipped files are stored with a php index which get resolved only on input of some verification characters. If you try to download these files with DAP you get the unresolved php file which is useless. But if you use IDM with a special predefined key you get the resoved zip file.
For some reason DAP crapped up after version 5 ie from 7... I prefer IDA the most, but unfortunately i have to use IDM.![]()
Is there some third party software or small freeware appln which will tell the download time consumed for each download after the download is over?? Any idea guys?!
both are only usefull for trail software only. if u dont have rapidshare account then there is no use of IDM and IDA if i am wrong then tell me beacause if u dont have r.s.account then once it disconnect again u have to download whole filw . so i prefer torrents than idm and IDA
I don't remember exactly which, but u can try Free Download Manager and Orbit Download manager
Not necessarily for RS, sometimes i download huge softwares like Linux images which won't complete in a day , A download manager is necessary.
And also most of the people queue up downloads and automate it with a scheduler to download in the Night unlimited time oly..

thats ok but linux u can easily get with pc magazine it is freeware but what about software like av and othersoftware that r not free it is offtopic
i meant to say that only for free software we can use idm and ida because then can download them easily of any size . but if u want to download software that are not free then from where u can download and u r not havinh any rapi **** account. Because today almost for downloading any software for free u have to pa. but in torrents there is no need
ok i can understand btw
IDM is good
hey guys am having both idm and DAP 9 free version.. I have extensively searched google and tried my best to get a good working patch for DAP 9 to convert it into premium to use certain features in it "Extreme acceleration" etc...
But till date I haven't got a single working patch though many fake patches/keygens claiming to working..
But anyway the point is its enough if we have the free version right? Or is it mandatory that we get the premium version for better results with bsnl broadband?
No its not possible to use IDM again without formatting...
Its not a place to talk about warez...
(Answer lies in ur question)
you can use such stuff from reputed sites..like softpedia etc..
