Thread: how to connect to the internet from my mobile on wifi ?

yesterday only the bsnl guys have installed bsnl broadband connection in my land line phone at my home.

the quick ref are:

Connection type: Home 500

Modem :UT Starcom WA3002G4, 4 ethernet ports with wifi

i use a Nokia N91 8GB handset with wifi.

the modem is shown while i search for available WLAN points in my mobile. but when i tried to connect the response in my mobile is "No gateway reply".

please guide me how to connect to the internet from my mobile on wifi through the above mentioned modem.

please check Broadband How to there you can find number of guides explaining how to configure wireless on your router.
First make wirless settings in router then you can search your wirless network name on phone and just simply connect using your WPA or WEP key.

If you face anymore issues then please specify what problem you are getting at the time of making connection on phone.

if u find ur wl network then connect to it. if u enabling wep in modem then disable it and then again connect

1.Please give feedback after
trying options given in Post No 3.

2. Also confirm you can use your computer,
(desktop or laptop) in WIFI mode .

3. Presume you got installation CD for UTSTAR WA3002-G4

i think he can now connect with the help of post 3 by using his wifi
