i switch on modem .. thats it.. n its showing RED.. wot to do .. ?? in xp it was green..
its okay dude.. i should have not installed win 7..![]()
go to control panel home... than go to security.. and click on allow a program through firewall.. see the middle tab.. EXCEPTION... CHEERS...
by port forward(PF), u mean utorrent or other programs port forwardin
and that ur net is working fine in win7, if so
Go to Windows firewall -> allow program/feature(common) ->
next if utorrent or any program u want to PF, is already on the list and if unchecked, check the box beside its name column. if program not there then add that by allow another program(u nedd admin privileges to change settings).
if this for utorrert, check for both incoming and outgoing.
there are two types of networks in win7 public and private, check the box against the program (utorr, ...) in the public, or private column(which ever network ur on)
thank u guys.. i got it.. thanx for the help..![]()
