If u are on bridged mode, there is no need to port forward.

Did u check the utorrent client? Is it showing red/yellow icon?

How do u get connected? Do u dial out an icon? Or do u switch on the modem to establish connection?

Am speaking about this icon µTorrent - The lightweight and efficient BitTorrent client - FAQ

If it was showing green in windows xp, your router has already been port forwarded.

I have uninstalled Windows 7 so will be unable to guide u

BTW u are on pppoe mode.

by port forward(PF), u mean utorrent or other programs port forwardin
and that ur net is working fine in win7, if so

Go to Windows firewall -> allow program/feature(common) ->

next if utorrent or any program u want to PF, is already on the list and if unchecked, check the box beside its name column. if program not there then add that by allow another program(u nedd admin privileges to change settings).
if this for utorrert, check for both incoming and outgoing.

there are two types of networks in win7 public and private, check the box against the program (utorr, ...) in the public, or private column(which ever network ur on)
