Rep Power: 2 | Dear friend! as you know the month of February is of 28 days. So I want to know what will be the free usage limit for this particular month under Home 500C+ plan? is it 2.5 GB for this month or 2.33 GB for 28 days? I am confused as this is my first February after getting the connection. |

Rep Power: 9 | the plan is linked to the month, not no. of days. whether the month is of 30, 31 or 28 days, the plan remains exactly same. just like u don't get additional free usage in a 31 day month, u would not get reduced free usage in a 28 day month |

Rep Power: 2 | @ panchabhut and @ cool_techie_tvm.both of you, again posted a controversial comment. I need more clarification. If I agree with panchabhut then there is a question that if my plan/service activated on say 15th of the month then I will be given 1.25Gb free, that I know. then what will be free usage for 28 days? again If I agree with cool_techie_tvm then also there is a question that why BSNL is not giving 2.5GB + 85 MB for the month consisting of 31 days??? |

Hence i posted so. Because they should follow the same logic in the case of Feb 2009 too. Quote:

| Look it's very clear you obviously get 2.5 GB in the February month what he said is absolutely correct it's not depend on the number of day of the month. Now i am just trying to clear your confusion if anyone BB activate on 15th 1st it depend on the total number of day of the month if suppose month is February then he/she will get free usage ((2.5*1024)/28)*14=1280 MB Now if it January and activate in same day(15th) then calculation will be ((2.5*1024)/31)*17=1403.8 MB Now formula is usage= ((total usage of month)/(total no of day in particular month))*(Rest of the day of particular month) Last edited by rupu1983; 02-04-09 at 10:07 AM. |

Rep Power: 2 | Exactly what I want to know is this. now you people are streamlining all the matter. Now it is clear that I am getting 2.5Gb for this month and regarding contacting accounts officer, that is not possible as these people are not accepting phone calls every now and then. I think you people know about BSNL Customer care. |

Rep Power: 1 | rupu1983 You are Right he will get 2.5. gb it depends on month not on days .only at the time of connection it depends on day if u get connection on 23 of the month then u have to pay for 8-9 days. but from next month Billing is done monthly. |

| Amor vincit omnia | Well thanks for correcting me friends. For someone like me 2.5GB is more than enough. I hardly cross the 2GB milestone every month with my net usage. Hence i dont keep track of the MBs being accumulated. So whether its 30/31/28 days its all the same for me Reps added for rupu1983 |

| I have twice got a broadband connection in 05 & 08 and both of the times the I was given the full BW amount ie 2.5 even tho i got the connection in the middle of the month. The only time the days are calculated, seems to be when there's a change of BB plan. |

Rep Power: 12 | @newprouser Please mention what was the rental charged ? For full month or for number of days ? When they calculate on Pro Rata Basis, BB rent/modem is also reduced accordingly. For Telephone rent /free calls if any, How BSNL billed you ? |
