1.If you were using dialer mode
In WAn page select 0_35 "edit' and "bridged" apply Save.

    2.If "always on Connection" ppp/PPPoE selected 0 _35
Enter Bsnl user Id ( without @ bsnl.in ) and PW.
    Apply and save reboot.

3.ONLY Important point is vpi/vci for bsnl is 0 and 35.
See thread quoted above for some screen shots ,detailed step by step instructions.

    4. You can retain Airtel vpi/vci 1_32 entries.
Change DNS of Airtel. Can use Opendns 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222.

    5. In Maintenance disable TR_069 client ( if seen) ( only airtel uses it )

Trying accessing the web interface of the modem by typing 192.168.1.1 in the browser. If the page isnt opening up (if u are not getting any username/password prompts) then configure the LAN to reflect 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway. This can be done in the LAN Card properties.

If u get a dialog box to enter username/password please enter admin/admin. The rest of the configuration is given at the beginning of this thread.

U can also try 192.168.1.2 (if u use USB connectivity)

    *Plug the Cables like LAN
    *Turn on the Modem
    * If DHCP is enabled, then you would get connected instantly(If not then look at last part)
*Open 192.168.1.1 in your browser, setup the connection in PPPoE mode. Guide can found here (Configuring Beetel 220BX with BSNL dataone)
    * Save all setting & reboot modem.

    Without DHCP:
    Goto
    Start>Control Panel(classic view)>Network Connections>Local Area Connection>Properties.

Select Internet Protocol and click on Properties, enter the following values:
    Code:
    IP:192.168.1.25
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway:192.168.1.1
You should be connected by now!
