Yep, you are correct. Speeds are adjusted.
Once i was getting about 4mbps speed but that party lasted for few days only

thats bsnl

they will notice the high speeds ,but fail to notice low speeds among its customers

in bsnl

high speeds are rare,but low speeds are common

if u complaint them regarding abt it ,they will say ur system has spyware blah blah

They notice the high speeds especially when someone is misusing the network by downloading more than what an average user can clock. The low speeds are primarily caused by cabling/hardware issues.

not really mate

see most of the people who r facing low speeds during night ul ,get full speeds during non happy hours

so hardware cabling issues is just only for handful of people

i ve seen many bsnl users escepially from bangalore facing similar problems that i am facing

i heard bangalore has the higest no of bsnl broadband users,so traffic during night time is pretty high and result most of the users r facing slow speed problems during night ul,as we discussed earlier ,all the night ul users are alloted to a single gateway because the ac are off and hence people like me r facing the slow speeds,as i get connected

my series is 117.******* if they assign only one gateway is it possible that some users face internet connectivity issue bcoz my broadband is not working from 10:30 p.m to 6 or 6:30 a.m from last 3 days

try to change ur dns to open dns when ur facing connecting problems

two days back my adsl link is active but still i cudnt connect to internet ,

i tried to connect internet but it was not connecting ,so i changed the dns to open dns
and refreshed my dns and cleared my dns cache,u can do it by click on right click on local area network connection

and it connected immediately

call bsnl customer care if u r still facing the problems,dont expect them to solve ur connecting problems automatically without raising a complaint

Man, my speed has dropped since 1 week.
I was always getting 250 + at night..
Its 50-100 now..

the 1 gateway policy is usually only between 2-8am ..

My 2 cents on the issue

For night unlimited it might be possible that they use a common AC so that it is not being billed

Second if every one is getting free access so it is obvious that speeds will drop to a good extent

and I 've seen the graphs for the Internet bandwidth Gateways of BSNL and they are full i.e 99% -100% from 2am till 8 am so it is quite obvious that all the bandwidth available to BSNL from overseas is full during that time!

So why complaint guys! :16:
