    DSL Status : Down
    DSL Modulation Mode : NOTTRAINED
    DSL Path Mode : INTERLEAVED
    see under dsl connection.
(probably the same page from which you got the speed data.
(post screen shot of this page)

Hope you got the user manual CD.
Check how to change mod to GDMT

    first screen shot.
    Now appears to be Adsl2+
If you select Mutimode it will be automatic.
Now select GDMT or T413 or Glite or adsl2

( In any selection you may/can loose connection)
    Note improvement.
( Anywhere you see Bitswap enable it.

Presume "keep alive" default was 0 seconds.

ADSL uses improvised signaling schemes for data transfer. By signaling schemes, i mean some method by which signals are carried over the telephone line. There exists many such schemes and one amongst them is G.DMT.

BSNL is known to operate on G.DMT, hence it is better for the end user too to setup his modem to operate on that mode.

Ok then do not worry. Continue using the router in ADSL2 mode only.

    from Post 7.

Note improvement. You should give feedback after changing the Mod mode to ADSL2 .
Whether connection became stable and or
    snr/attn data improved.
If you want to avoid all hassle select multi mode, and check adsl data often to find the best setting for your connection. It changes.

By the way what happened to your windows Messenger problem ?

These days pirated XP and genuine XP is the same. The only difference is that pirated OS is tough to update (we need to patch the WGA files).
