Try mod GDMT only.
what does that mean?
really i also dont know just configure in bridge mode and then tell. from my last experience i know that their is no need to configure or change ur modem setting . if u get adsl link then u will connect to internet.
only i face one problem that i already discuss in this forun but no answer????????????????
DSL Status : Down
DSL Modulation Mode : NOTTRAINED
DSL Path Mode : INTERLEAVED
see under dsl connection.
(probably the same page from which you got the speed data.
(post screen shot of this page)
Hope you got the user manual CD.
Check how to change mod to GDMT
first screen shot.
Now appears to be Adsl2+
If you select Mutimode it will be automatic.
Now select GDMT or T413 or Glite or adsl2
( In any selection you may/can loose connection)
Note improvement.
( Anywhere you see Bitswap enable it.
Presume "keep alive" default was 0 seconds.

I have to see too many SS of similar modems of linksys.
Give feedback with GDMT etc.
Changing the ADSL Modulation to G.DMT will help u sync at proper values![]()
ADSL uses improvised signaling schemes for data transfer. By signaling schemes, i mean some method by which signals are carried over the telephone line. There exists many such schemes and one amongst them is G.DMT.
BSNL is known to operate on G.DMT, hence it is better for the end user too to setup his modem to operate on that mode.

from Post 7.but it dosent connect on G.DMT

Whether connection became stable and or
snr/attn data improved.
If you want to avoid all hassle select multi mode, and check adsl data often to find the best setting for your connection. It changes.
By the way what happened to your windows Messenger problem ?
- Live messenger problem is still the same, no improvement
- After Buying new router, ports successfully forwarded......Dlink GLB-802C sucks
about the connection problem
- i switched to ADSL2 and diabled wireless mode, so far it didnt disconnect, but im still gonna keep an eye...........i think its the wireless mode, might not be taking the load
just configure in bridge mode and nearly half problemes solved
have you tried MTU change or DNS change??
worth a try.. opendns servers - 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
i have one last doubt, is there anyone who is running a pirated windows xp professional and that msn messenger is working on it?? and also who's DNS is set to OpenDNS!
