No.. U can't use both internet connections at same PC simultaneously...

Check the speed after u get BB connection... If it won't give optimum download speed of around 150+ KBps u may need to change the wiring... Feedback..

    Note-
Speed depends on various other factors like distance of exchange from ur place...

U need to invest on a load aggregator or a load balancer to combine both the connections and use them simultaneously.

Both can be used and can be routed automatically based on available bandwidth. But at any given point of time one of the connection only used.

    @bestofhyd
    1.mention the modem make/model provided
    to you by Sify.
If it is cable modem cannot be used for BSNL BB.
    2. Having two ethernet cards in your desktop computer.
    Connecting/using 2 ISP's may be possible.
A new set up. ( checking up)
Speed addition not possible but if one fails
    other will take over.
    3. This will be similar to connecting
(a)ISP1(BSNL) ADSL modem USBport to USB port of computer (or Lanport / NIc1/ )
(b)ISP2(sify) cable modem to ethernet port (nic2) of computer.
    4.
Try and give feedback. will update later any new info
    .
