Thread: help for bittorrent

hi every body

i am using bit torrent file for the first time i was downloading patch for one software file was about 65 mb it was a torrent file when i double clicked trhe file it started downloading in bittorrent software but the speed i was getting is 3.4 kbps my plan is 500c. can any body tell me how to increase the speed in bit torrent

help needed urgently

You should mask your ip first.and please have proxies.this is happening because your isp tracks it.

There are hundreds (if not thousands) of threads on torrents in this forum. Please do a forum search at the very least.

What you need to do is, port forward.

Post in your modem details so that members can suggest the necessary port forwarding technique.

also look for you modem here PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall .. it should give you port forwarding instructions
