Thread: UT Starcom WA3002G4 how to setup for auto dialler ?

Hi,
I am having UT starcom WA3002G4 Router.

Presently i am using through PPPoe dialer with user name and password, but 2 lan connection can log on to this device, if i use 3rd with the same, it is not connecting. I heard about automatic connection setup. when i switch on, it will connect to the internet automatically.

How to set up. please suggest.

thanks for your link. Every thing i modified but in the device info, it is not showing Default Gateway: 59.93.60.65
Primary DNS >> 218.248.240.181
Sec DNS >>>> 218.248.240.23

I really appreciate your efforts to create the wonderful site called :: mydataone dot net

Please update how to set up the opendns dot com DNS address in the same wa3002g4 router.

1.STARTrun type cmd
type ipconfig /all post results here.

2. Start /NETWORK/LOcal Area Network/ Properties
TCP/IP properties
in New page existing IP entries
or select obtain IPaddress automatically.
In DNS enter Opendns
208.67.220.220 and 2108.67.222.222
Apply Save.

Well it isnt exactly my website. It was created by a BSNL officer KGM Prasad.

U can change the DNS settings in the properties of your lancard.

Towards the end of the page u will find

All that you need to do is to configure your LAN card to Obtain IP address automatically and Obtain DNS address automatically and open your farourite browser to browse the internet. You will have to redo what you did in the first screenshot of this page except instead of assigning an IP address you should choose Obtain IP automatically and obtain DNS automatically..

But instead of following that please checkout the post of essbebe in this thread.
