Default How to configure my BSL connection with 440BX2 modem and Netgear WGR614 router

This is my first post in this forum.

I have a working BSNL connection setup in Always-On mode using SE440BX2 modem. Now I have purchased a Netgear WGR614 router. I am unable to setup the wireless connection using Netgear CD and Smart Wizard - always getting error message although I follow all steps correctly.

I have tried steps provided in the many help documents - but no luck. Please help.

    440BX(1) or 450BX1 itself is a wifi modem/router.
Please confirm your MODEM unit correctly.

To the best of my knowledge there is no 440BX2 modem

Also SE440bX2 REFERS TO iNTEL MOTHERBOARD.
    Goggle search : SE440Bx2 ( first page)

Anyway look at this website for any similarity
    for settings in Wireless Mode.

May i ask something? What is the need for the 440BX2 when u have a WGR614? U can directly connect the WGR614 to the telephone line and configure it to function in pppoe mode (always on mode).

Edit : My mistake. Seems like WGR614 is a wireless gateway.

How are both the devices connected with each other? I mean how 440BX2 and WGR614 are connected? Through cable? Have u checked the type of cable? Cross-over / Straight-through ?
