same here with both sites at same time..........are you a BSNL user.......
Man, and i thought only i had this strange problem..
What DNS servers you guys are using
Which ISP are you using?
both sites are working fine for me ...
Same here!
The google and yahoo sites are dead, i think it is happening on BSNL only.
The same has been listed on http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...ng-google.html (Unable to access few sites including google)
I am facing no such problems. BTW am on level 3's DNS![]()
and as like it happens with me in past also with few other sites......it'll be last for months......![]()
Same here.....working without any issues. Might be issues with the BSNL DNS Proxy/Server
It seems there is some problem. Initially I felt there is some problem with my connection. But I was able to open this forum now and found that this problem is faced by others. NOTE I was anot bale to login into this forum earlier.
Are the older users with 59.xx.xx.xx IP facing this problem? I guess no. The problem is limited to 117.xx.xx.xx users only it seems.
It might be an issue with the Proxy or DNS servers, tried using vtunnel to access it?
Now ( 9.44 pm) they are opening![]()
hey yo man they are working now............![]()
the prblem in my region has got rectified ............... n nw i'm able to access dem
I got "limited" connection. windows indicated DNS error. then things became normal.
well ... good ... the problem seems to be solved ...
I am facing this problem for last few days. Actually I did my wireless router setup along with nokia seimens modem 4 days back.
Since then I am facing this problem. Most of time google says "address not found". Here is detailed message:
=======================
Address Not Found.
Firefox can't find the server at [Google[/url].
The browser could not find the host server for the provided address.
* Did you make a mistake when typing the domain?
* Are you certain this domain address exists? Its registration may have expired.
* Are you unable to browse other sites? Check your network connection and DNS server settings.
* Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.
=======================
It was working fine when I use to connect modem using cable. And after this wifi setup, this error comes very frequently. And after 3-4 retries, it displays the google page.
I though there is some technical issue in my wifi setup, but looks like this is bsnl backend issue with their DNS which is not able to resolve the website IP address properly.

Also please refrain from posting the same query in multiple threads..
