Default How to file complaint against BSNL in consumer court ..

Hello... bsnl billed Rs.40000/- per month for broadband.. But usage shows only 3Gb:crying:

I am currently using bsnl broadband for 6 months. All very nice upto the last month. Today I received my bsnl bill for broadband use.:31:

It is around Rs.40000/- and I am using HOME500C+ plan and I only used 2981MB.

It is total wrong billing by BSNL. HOW TO REGISTER A COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS IN CONSUMER COURT?.:41:

WHAT PROOF I NEEDED TO FILE A CASE AGAINST BSNL. I MEAN EVEN BSNL PEOPLE COULD CHANGE THE DATA WHEN I FILE A CASE AGAINST THEM.:taz:

HOW COULD I PROOF THIS LEGALLY AND SUBMIT TO CONSUMER COURT.

    THANK YOU...

First things first. Have u talked about this matter with the accounts officer for your telephone number? If not, please talk with him at the earliest. Explain the situation to him, and if he indeed gets convinced that an error has occurred, then a new revised bill will be issued.

Secondly, have u tried using some other username/password credentials in your telephone line aka from your house?

a friend of mine had a similar problem.. just take a print out of your portal page showing the 3gb usage and go to your nearest customer care center , they would definetly solve the issue for you

Angry I received a whopping 55000 bill for january 2009!!!

These BSNL people are all lazy bastards.

Showing no responsibility at all towards their customers.

It's really frustrating when you receive such a huge bill and then you have to run around here and there to get it rectified.

Thank Goodness that the good old portal which is down 95 percent of the times, shows correct usage reading with all details.

At least I have something to thrown in their face and get it rectified.

Otherwise they do not have any time to listen to us.

I am using HOME 500 Plan for the past 7 months. Everything was fine, till this bill arrived at my doorstep.
They have taken into account the total usage of 62 GB and from that they have deducted the 2.5 GB that is the permissible value of the usage for one month.

And the portal clearly shows that 62 GB is the total volume of usage including night hours.
And then the last column shows the actual usage excluding night hours usage which is 2.67 GB for which I should be charged!

This is really ridiculous on part of the best Broadband service in the country.

I am no way gonna pay the bill because I know that I am right and they are wrong and they will have to correct this and send me the rectified bill.

And it was really relieving to know that this has happened earlier with other people and I am not the first one. So I see a ray of hope now.
