When the 2mbps connection becomes available to bsnl home customers, what should be a nominal tariff in your opinion, taking into account the low internet tariff rates in other countries?

Am willing to shell out a maximum of 1.5k for a 2mbps UL connection.![]()
The question is very hypothetical BSNL still not announce 1 mbps UL plan and may be they will not announce 2 mbps plan in near future also otherwise they will feel little uncomfortable to bill 50000-60000 Rs for limited user @ 2mbps plan because they know very well if they declare 2 mbps UL plan then rental should be 4500-5500 Rs compare to the other UL plan ratio so lots of argument will start if they bill 2 mbps limited user 10-20 times high usage charge compare to unlimited plan at same speed.
1.5K is a long way to go, i feel...
At present bsnl is offering 2mbps unlimited to business ppl at 15k!!!!!!

I think, specially for a customer like me. There is no need of 2Mbps unlimited Plan. I used both the UL Plan of BSNL i,e 750 and 1350. Both the UL plans are very good for surfing but not good enough for Heavy download. I think Home 500 (C, C+ etc) are enough for downloading purpose.
Regarding rate of 2Mbps UL Plan, I can say that "The least is the best'. If they can provide 2Mbps UL at 1500 - 2000, I think many people can afford the plan.

Broadband from Tata Indicom: Leading Hi Speed broadband internet service provider in India. Apply for super fast broadband internet connection now. Get Hi Speed broadband from tata Indicom broadband
they still have a long way to go for the 1K mark.

i guess Rs 800 to 1k shud be ok amount
I am willing to pay not more than Rs 1200.
not more than 1.5K if its "upto" 2mbps
1k would be appropriate for me
I will be delighted when they provide 2mbps speed during 2-8 for home 750Ul users also..
i can download more than enough with night unlimited...and i am getting 20% discount under government employee scheme...so i dont need a unlimited connection...however if there will be such a plan, i can give Rs50 more i.e. 400+50= 450...they dont deserve more than this..:31:
1.5k to 2k is fine for me if the dowload rate "IS" 2MBPS and not upto![]()
2.5k will be okay to me![]()
i am ready even for 2k but will bsnl provide ??
wow.. you guys are willing to pay 2.5k for a 2mbps unlimited.. you could get a 6mbps or 8mbps unlimited for 1.5k (30$) in the USA... its really unfair that we have to pay so much more!!
i think something around 1k - 1.5k would be affordable ...
...stop daydreaming guys...afterall its BSNL..

I will not mind paying anything between 1000-1500 for 2Mbps connection, in other countries its available on a fair price, i know about UK where 2Mbps plans are starting from £9.99
UL up to 2Mbps for Rs 500 and UL up to 8Mbps for Rs 1500
This will be affordable for all user.
UL 8mbps at 1500/- per month is truly unrealistic, atleast in India !!
