    Default Help required in configuring Data Modem in Windows 2000

    Dear All,

    It would be very helpful if you can instruct me on how to configure the BSNL Modem in Windows 2000. The vendor configured the same on an Windows XP OS. But is unable to do so in Windows 2000.

    Thanks in advance.

    How do u want to connect? Bridge mode or pppoe mode? U want to dial out the connection (bridged mode)? Or u want the modem to dial out the connection as soon as it is switched on (pppoe mode)?

    @graman

    You can use Opendns in lieu.
    208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222

    if still problem mention your modem model/make.
    Select your modem.

    Is PPPoE dialer available with Win 2000 ? I mean is it integrated as with Win XP?

    Edit : Yes the dialer is inbuilt. But not available in Win 98.
