That might not be possible If i remember the recent discussions happening in IBF about this. Usually the BB is bound with your telelphone so I doubt you might be able to do this. In the admin page of the modem, there is an option for username and password, If you change that info then you "might" be able to use your "friends" BB connection.

Please don't mind but I sincerely hope you have got permission from your "friend" for using his/her connection.

Technically/practically BSNL binds the username/password of a subscriber with the telephone line (number) from which he is accessing. This is done by default on all the connections. This is known as port binding.

In some circles, port binding can be released when request is made through proper channels.

You want to work together in Internet

Both of you log in at the same time and access
each other's computer with program/s like
    LogmeIn etc.
( google search: remote computer access)

    hi
if you please elaborate on your problem many people can help you.
you said want to use both your account & your friends account, so my question how do you want to use it? bot at a time on the same modem? or both user name on the same modem turn wise? as of turn wise i dont think its possible as techie told due to port binding... and cant login 2 id's from a single modem at a time...

so explain your problem as much as you can so will help you out

1.First of all this is not legal suppose if you able to do access other account then any time BSNL will charge you for not authenticate user may be they can disconnect the line
    2. Also it's not possible due to port binding.
