Please post your line statistics so that we can look into the SNR and Attenuation details. A screen shot of the page would suffice..

It is ok. Once u take the screen shot, please upload it to TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting

They will give u an url for the image. Post that url in here.

I think your LAN IP is creating some problem, try to manually assign them to do that follow these steps

    -- Go to control panel
-- click on my network connection
-- then select your network probably your LAN connection
-- right click on it and select prop.
-- Double click on TCP/IP on that same page
-- then select use the following ip address then enter the numbers as follows

    ip address: 192.168.1.(any number b/w 2 and 254)
Subnet mask: just press tab it will be filled with 255.255.255.0
    Default gateway: 192.168.1.1

    Primary DNS: 208.67.220.220
    Sec. DNS: 208.67.222.222

And yes btw whats the service name you are providing when you are creating a pppoe connection??

@adhirajb12 I just looked at the screenshot. The line parameters all look fine. Even u have configured your modem to work in G.DMT. I guess the problem which u are facing might be of the temporary nature due to some work in the exchange.

BTW, have u set the DNS address in the router?

Your Line attn 41 db is high. ( for D/L)
Check how you have connected the Adsl splitter.
    Exchange port Rj11==LINE port ====>>
    Modem Port Rj11 to modem
    PHONE PORT ===>>> ALL phones.
Check for bad contacts. Use short cable to modem .

Probably your location is about 4 to 6Km from your exchange. Confirm.

    adsl splitter is fine......
if u r asking about the nearest telephone exchange office, its about 2 kms off....
but the lenght of my telephone wires from the box is may be about 500m

If it is possible try reducing the amount of wires being employed for setting up the connection. ADSL signals are largely attenuated as the length of the lines extents. The shorter the wirings, the lesser the attenuation.

The attenuation of 41dB is expected. U must be precisely 3kms away from your exchange according to ::. Kitz - Max speed calculator .::

So i dont think u can do anything more to decrease the attenuation..

Presume 500Meters is from the telephone pole to your house.
Is the phone connection very old or new ?
IS it a Black Box with screws to connect the telephone/
Or a Yellow box with a RJ11 Port ? ( with some PCB condenser etc inside ). ?

Connecting through Wan Miniport error occurs when they have disconnected u from the exchange for some maintenance works. Dont worry it might fix by itself..

BSNL works on G.DMT adsl modulation.

In your modem u have enabled g.dmt, g.lite, t1.413, adsl 2, annex l, adsl 2+. Yet the modem status page is displaying the the modem is syncing with the exchange at G.DMT

U can experiment with the connection by unchecking the other adsl modulations, it is worth a try to reduce the attenuation..

1.Presume you selected "bridged" in this page.

2.Check Diagnostics page. report only FAIL components.

3.Start/ RUN cmd type ipconfig /all
    post details again.

    Just open 192.168.1.1/main.html
    admin admin
    see the modem/router pages
just report what you see !

Or Take FIRST screen shots of all the modem settings ( if it worked !)
    Ignore wireless.

Kindly checkout Bridge versus Router Mode Differences, Advantages and Applications

The connection will get disconnected no matter whether u are in bridged or pppoe mode, if there is something fundamentally wrong.

Yes, if u schedule the script to reconnect every 10 minutes. If the connection is already present, the effect of script will be nullified. But if the connection is absent, the connection will be reactivated withing 10 mins..
