With 256 kbps unlimited plan the theoratical maximum download and upload rates are 32 kB/s (kBps). With 512 kbps unlimited plan the theoratical maximum download and upload rates are 64 kB/s (kBps).

For all other limited plans the maximum upload rate caps at 64 kB/s (kBps).

p/s: Please note the difference between kbps and kBps. You may be already aware of it.

    I beg to differ.

For 256kbps UL plans the download/upload speeds ate 256/256 kbps.

For 512kbps UL plan of BSNL, the download/upload speeds are 512/256 kbps.

BSNL provides ADSL connections for which the upload speeds are always lower. U can try for connections from other service providers like Reliance and Tata Indicom. They are known to provide synchronous ADSL download/upload speeds. U can try Airtel too..

I suggest that u get in touch with the nearest internet exchange and clarify the upload speeds with them..

2mbps gives you 512kbps upload speed.. so thats relatively higher compared to the unlimited plans..

Seems BSNL has different policies for different customers of the same plan..
