Vide letter No.200-63I2oo8-VAS dated 23.1.2009 instructions were issued for preparedness of 3G Go-live launch by BSNL. The following milestones have now been decided I)
National launch for 3G for BsNL will be done from Chennai an 22.2.2009.
2) Cammercial launch in selected cities as given below will be dOne on 27.2.2009 -Ambala; Shimla; Jammu; Jalandhar; Jaipur; Lucknow; Dehradun; Patna; Durgapur; Haldia; Agra; Ranchi and Bhubaneswar.

3) On the day of launch following 3G services will be made available-I) Video call 2) Mobile broadband 3) Mobile TV

i think when MTNL launched it, they provided free 3G for 2 months.. hope they do the same for BSNL and hope it comes to bangalore soon!!

Any idea when 3G will be launched in Gujarat ?
