    Default Getting very slow speed

So here is the problem,i m getting very bad speed since last november.Currently i m on home 750ul plan.Earlier it was just fine. Now i get tremendous lag in all multiplayer games i play.Connection doesnt seems to be constant.DSL light blinks, then stops and blinks again as if it cannot recieve or process data at constant pace.Sometimes at night after 11-12 pm it becomes ok(just ok not good like it was before november) but still multiplayer games r not very playable, ping just sucks.I get kicked out of everywhere.Web pages take forever to load.I have already tried setting up new connecton/rebooting modem million times.
I have complained this issue thrice and also gone to BSNL office but they just dont listen to me.Pls help i want to play multiplayer games.I would like to know if i can do anything on my side to fix this.
I dont have any malware on my pc.Scanned with 7-8 updated antiviruses so far. Also HijackThis log doesnt show anything suspicious.I dont have any other ISP in my region.I m from Lucknow.

Now you are in the plan of UL 750 that mean your download speed should be around 30-35 KB/s are you getting such speed ? check it at

Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test

For unstable link check your SNR value (if it low then call the lineman of exchange) also Line attentuation(for better speed) if it under 20-22 db for downstream then it's very good.
Finally complaint to BSNL BB officer not depend on phone or customer care unit for this problem.

The problem isn't the speed, its consistency.I get 30-35kb/sec download speed but only when i use download manager, other wise its about 25kb/sec.Ethernet and internet lights on modem dont blink continously which they should when browsing or downloading. But what is SNR?sorry i dont know pls help ty.

    Tell your modem/router model ?
type 192.168.1.1 and show the overview of statistics SNR (signal to noise ratio)

for playing games..we dont need to have higher speeds. Only the distance from the server and host must be close
