Thread: [Help] Setting U Webserver

Hi,

I'm complete n00b, i followed many instructions but cant clear it out, i have C2110 Nokia Siemens Modem, I have WAMP installed and its set online, so i cant always chk my wamp server by 192.168.1.2, now i have port forwarded port 80 to that, but wat i get when ever i type my ip is the router config page which is 192.168.1.1, I heard i have to setup virtual DMZ or something but i cudnt understnd the correct process to do so, if anyone have setup a webserver before then please help me, Please don read tutorials and suggest me, coz i have read many, better if u are xperienced and have already setup such home server, Thanks

This is a bit old, but have u gone through Geek to Live: How to set up a personal home web server ?

No results...i read all those tutorial erlier did all thats tols and needed...

1.Start/Network/LAN Properties
TCP/IP
Properties
Select Obtain IP address automatically.

2.Try to access your "web server" from another computer.

3.Start/RUN type cmd type ipconfig /all
give data here.

4.Check in your modem Advanced options any DDNS entry

5. Do you have a static IP OR A "PSEUDO" STATIC IP ?.

I would like to know if you are using WAMP for any specific purpose .
