I got a new BSNL landline connection and planning to switch to BSNL broadband. What is the best plan as of now
My requirements are:
1. I won't be using phone for making any calls
2. Just wanted to have internet with the help of phone

I suggest that you first opt for UL750+ plan. This plan offers slower speed (256 kbps or 32 KB/s) but unlimited download. Once you have analysed your browsing patterns and usage history and also got comfortable with modem (self) configurations, automated downloading, etc., you can then switch to Hone 500 C or Home 500 C+ plans.
Hone 500 C or Home 500 C+ plans offer high speed (upto 2 mbps or 256 KB/s) but have limited usage. Extra usuage is horribly expensive at 80p per MB and hence it will not be wise for first time users to opt for such plans.
All the three plans mentioned have landline rent waiver built in so that you do not have to pay Rs. 180/- pm for landline rental.
