Thread: Braodband not working after MT841 factory reset

Hi All,

My broadband was working for ethernet port but not for WLAN. I did factory reset to the MT841 modem. After that I did all the configurations again but now my laptop does not connect to the internet. I checked the inbuilt diagnostic in modem it shows it is connected to the net. But the laptop doesn't connect to the net. Anyone suggestions?

1.Select in desktop and laptop
obtain IP address automatically.

2. Are you using the MT841 wireless card or an external
wireless router.?/

5. Post ipconfig /all data for wireless connection.

are you able to open http://192.168.1.1 ?? ensure you are on ppoe mode , thats recommended for multiple machines.(essbebe's link no 4)
