Default Information on Connecting to Teleblend

    Hi All,

I got a new broadband connection from BSNL. The modem type is UT300R2U. I am able to connect to the Internet however I am not able to connect to the VoIP phone (VoIP was working fine with the previous provider (Hathway)). I tried all the things mentioned in this forum (PPoE and DHCP setting) that has not helped. Can anyone please let me know how i can get through with this issue .

Teleblend is the VOIP connection works on InnoMedia MTA6328-2Re device.

    Thanks in advance
    -Shriram

    UT-300R2U ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION
    Check connected to internet.
then transfer the Rj45 to Gizmo and from there another rj45 to computer for testing.

Hi thanks for trying to help. I have had a look at all the posts and link that you have sent.. However i have not been able to solve the problem. I was using hathway previously (and those guys had a port open from there end) would that be a problem? I know of a few people having the same setup and didnt have to do anything for Voip to work

If your UT300r2u modem is new type
    Try:
1.Use the DMZ option and enter the teleblend IP address.

    2.or try opendns 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222

3.If the Internet connection is working via the Gizmo, in your computer, seems the port for VOIP is also open.

4.Can you access the MTa 6328 settings ?
5.What is the IP and Id and PW ?

I am a DSL User, how can I enable my PPPoE?

    - Most DSL service providers do not require this since their DSL modems already have this capability built-in where the hand-off on the LAN side is straight Ethernet. In these cases, you will simply need to the connect the WAN port of your Gizmo to the LAN side of the modem and then connect your computer to the LAN side of the GIzmo if you do not have a router already.

    - In the case that you do not have one of these newer devices from your service provider and your DSL provider requires a "User Name & Password" authentication when when connecting to the Internet from your PC, there is a good chance that the DSL modem that you have requires an external device to establish the PPPoE connection to the service provider. You normally would do this through an application on your computer, but in this particular scenario, you will need to configure the Gizmo/ATA with the same username and password settings so that it can establish the connection instead of your computer. You will then connect your computer to the LAN port of the Gizmo and automatically connect to the Internet without having to use the login application on the computer. For specific instructions on how to login to your particular GIzmo type and configure the username and password information, please take a look a Downloads page on this support site.
