Thread: Low downloading speed on all sites except one....Pls help...

Hi.. I just got bsnl broadband connection last week..using UT300R2U modem...500C plan.
Problem is I m getting a downloading speed of 40-60kbps only...

A couple of my friends are having the same plan but they are getting 170-180kbps....
When i use torrents my avg speed is 40kbps even on highly seeded torrents...So i thought there must be a problem with my connection....

But here's the twisting thing... When I am using Azureus to download HD videos from this site "vuze.com/content/BucketBrowse.html" , I am geting a downloading speed of 180 to 200kbps... I don't get these speeds even when i am using rapidshare or direct downloads(only 40kbps)... Is there any way i can increase my speeds on other sites also?

I switched from bridge to PPPOE as i was getting disconnected a lot... But the speed is the same... No change in it

check your speed at speedtest.net
say Mumbai and Sydney servers.
Report results, or post pictures as annexures,
or links as h t t p:// speed test ........etc
