If ur modem has USB conectablity option then u can connect through USB, google and find out wether ur modem has USB option.

In UL750 plan, download speeds will be around 30KBps. no matter what u do it wont go higher than that.

yep the average download speed you will get it 30kBps you may momentarily get even 50kBps but in matter of seconds it will be back to 30 just dont try to search a method of making it faster everybody in this site has already tried it but no success .... one thing i can say in orkut the same site has a community there a software was told to try that gave me consistent speed of 35kBps thats all now i dont use it as it doent make much difference but yes it worked...

Welcome Vaneesh. I too have a UL 750 connection. Now check your modem, is it seimens c2110? For recent connections, they give C2110 (actually it is Nokia Seimens C2110). If you check the back side of the modem (where you insert the phone line and power cable), you will find another port named USB. You can use this port to connect your modem through a USB . If this is not what you meant, please give a better picture of your requirement.

Regarding speed, for torrents 30KB/s is maximum. There are talks that BSNL may allow UL 750 users to use 512 Mbps soon. But it is still on the desk.

You can increase the speed of your downloads. Use a download manager. I will say Internet Download Accelerator (it shows 56 KB/s speed). Other options are Internet Download Manager (IDM) and Download Accelerator Plus (DAP). Of these three, DAP is free.

    regards

    Dilip
