Default difficulty in logging wirelessly

i had a bsnl broadband to which i connected through the usb port. now i have a new bsnl broadband modem to connect wirelessly. model no DNA-A211-1. my laptop is a dell latitude D820. i am not able to connect wirelessly but only though the ethernet. i am able to visualise the bsnl symbol and the logo says connected, but there is no data transfer. the customer service guy says me to take my laptop to a service guy and configure

kindly advise

If internet is working in LAN mode
for your wireless settings in modem/router
follow this guide.
Chennai Telephones- Changing password in DataOne Pre-configured modem

In your (computer)/laptop
START /All programs/Accessories/Communications
Wireless Network Wizard
follow instructions.
There should be a wireless LAN card either on right or left side of your laptop.

Start/Network/WirelessLAN/properties
TCP/IP
properties
select Obtain IP address automatically.
Apply and Save.
If still problem post
ipconfig /all data
Start RUn type cmd type ipconfig /all
( Did you try with the Rj45 removed ?)
