Thread: How to implement firewall?

Hi,
I got UTSTARcom wireless router.Is there a way to implement firewall itself in the router? Is there a way to block the youtube site? Is there is an iptables like tool in the router itself..? Can anyone help me please.

I got it ..but a new problem arose !!
There is an access control in the management section in the router web page.
In the ip list i added the youtube ips and clcked on the enable radio button. Unfortunately the youtube videos are not blocked but the wireless router webpage htt://192.168.1.1 is down and even iam not even able to telnet to 192.168.1.1.

Can any guide me this.

Reset the modem by pressing the reset button, manually. And regarding your site blocking, I think you can block the site from the windowssystem itself. Just google it.

Thanks Robet, but i have done that ..but no effect .. when i go the webpage it is showing like this.

"Connection Interrupted
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again."
