    Smile BSNL modem alternate

    Hello folks,

I'm fed up with the BSNL Ut300R2U modem as it does not support bridge mode and if i reset the modem i have to go all the way to the bsnl office to get it into bridge mode. Secondly in some cases speed drops and increases even i have a rapidshare account and use 500 home plan 2.5gb limit i cant use it to its full potential forget torrents. There is no firmware upgrade etc for this modem. Thanks to bsnl god knows from where they procure these modems.
1.Can you suggest any good modem for broadband modem which qualifies to bsnl standards and is a speedracer and fully bridge mode. I heard D-link ADSL 2 is good, and for how much it costs.
2.It should have firmware upgrade and driver updates.
3.Should be available in india readily.
