    Default Govt employees scheme

    Hi BSNl has started a new scheme for govt employees offering 20% discount on broadband connections. I'm a govt servant and i have a existing connection can i benefit from if i apply and how should i go about it any advice has anybody out there go for it?. Is it a 20% discount on billing or something? Kindly help what is the procedure.

    you are a govt. employee dude :cool2: go to exchange show your id card and apply and enjoy

    its 20% discount on bb rental & usage, you have to show your ID card or the appointment letter or anything which is give to you from Govt then you can avail this offer......!

    You also need to fill up a specific form and also submit a declaration from your Drawing & Disbursing Officer (DDO) to the effect that you are a bonafide employee working since .....

    well but that doesn't apply on combo plans (confirmed with my exchange)

    Guess thats because the discount is only for BB(rental and usage) and not for the Telephone (rental and free calls) component of the Combo plans.

    yup thats what the exchng employees told me, they also said that most of the BB offers doesnt apply on combo

    Well i talked with commercial officer today for this. they are offering this scheme for the ppl paying the rental monthly & not annually.
