Just watch TV 9 channel.
they have done ethical hacking and news is being aired.

May be true. I used to wath times now. I don't see anything. I don't thing anybody can hack our system if we do take necessary precations

Is that channel is providing quality news? I am asking this as I don't used to watch that channel. Nowadays most news channels are very boring to watch as they just repeat a single news again and again

yes dude. its a channel on which we can trust.

, but they showed how they hacked,. showed portal server files and all....

actually TV 9 did an ethical hacking on it ...they informed BSNL frm last 6 months and still no action was taken. so they today aired it on TV

today i cant say anything to BSNL as they have provided me the BEST service ever.... i dont think any body has got this kind of service...
my line was dead to be exact the 5 pair cable they use was cut in two piece by an on going truck.... i complained BSNl about this at 11 AM and Unbelievably they were at the spot by 11:45 AM and by 12:30 my line was ok .... ! just awesome work....! The main problem they had when i was taking the connection was my house is in remote place ... no surrounding houses, only for my connection they had to get 700 mts wire they took around 2 months to get it, but today just in 45 min it was there and in 1 1/2 hr my line was ready i was fully impressed and paid 50 RS each for 3 people who repaired...!

thats nice, this kind of service should be everywhere in india, there must have been a new head at the BSNL office at your place..

With so much information, you could at least
post which portal has been "Hacked"
Usage portal, or main web site, or
some circle website etc.
or they could change some of the photos or
edit the web site code.
BSNL Portal OK now.
BSNL - Broadband Account Management OK now. opening normally

Dear Node-In-Charge,Plan change advice note entry,view usage,activations,suspension,reactivation and termination activities will not happen from 22.00hrs on 13-March-2009 to 18.00hrs on 14-March-2009 due to regular maintenance activity.Regret for the inconvenience.

it is written in BSNL Portal. Check it. I think this is a regular maintenance work and not hacked. Though I am not sure

check the time i posted, at that time i was watching TV 9 and was shocked with what they have aired on TV.


has anyone seen it ?

When talking technical stuff, we have to be more specific.
"abt " portal" does not convey fresh info.

You should specify the link/s and confirm, you can access
any link by noting down one or two links from the TV screen.
we are not supposed to access in normal usage.
Para two:
Linksys websites given by me are not hacked ! Normal links.

Agree.. BSNL service has come along way.. much better now. Am a new user, but so far no hassles.. was previously user of Reliance netconnect.. the attitude of the pplin their call centre is appalling!!..

A normal procedure. But i will say, please don't. After all they are central govt. employees. Their pay scale is much better than those in private sector.The person who distributes courier works for peanuts. But we don't give him anything. When somebody pays them, they expect others to do the same. Actually this is the problem, unless you are not ready to contribute for his evening party, he will not attend your problem. If you don't know, there are many who intentionally damage the line for this income.
