Thread: forget password of SIEMENS C2110

I have BSNL broadband connection using SIEMENS ADSL2 modem . by default username/password was admin/admin but now i have tried 1000 times it did not work i even tried some gussed password like "password" 1234 but failed.

Finally i reset the modem but inspite of it its control panel password is not retrieved successfully . now i am in big trouble I reset the modem so I can not open control panel and can not save BSNL username/password inside it
and I do not how to create a "network connection" like dial up style to access my net .. it looks i have to purchase a new modem

please help

I have a utstarcom modem and the reset work perfectly but sorry i cannot help as i never used the modem u have

Finally i reset the modem

RESET with power on for about 20 to 30 seconds.
In Computer
Start Network Local area connection Properties
High ligh TCP/IP
click properties
New Page.
enter IP address : 192.168.1.10
subnet 255.255.255.0
default 192.168.1.1 ( modem's address )

DNs select automatically.
Apply Save.

Now open IE browser type 192.168.1.1
admin admin
can you access the setting menu ?
