Thread: How old is your BSNL connection

Hi,

I took BSNL broadband Home-250 in Nov 2008. Changed to UL 750 in March 2009 (Thanks to those huge bills by BSNL). My modem is Nokia Seimens C2110. What about you?

Started using BSNL in march 2005, just when it was launched. Moved form Iqara (You) broadband, best move of my life.

You found iquara good...It brings nightmare for me

This is the 2nd time i have chosen BSNL broadband connection since August 2008 from the beginning my plan is Home 500 and my modem is Nokia-Siemens C2110

i recently got my new net connection , which is bsnl evdo wid 550 plan wid ul usage
i have evdo , so i get around 1 mbps in here, but it fluctuates a lot

I got my BSNL BB from Dec 2008 then the plan was Home250 changed to Home500C from Feb 2009.

i m using H500 plan of bsnl dataone from may 2006, shifted to H500 combo in april 2008. i dint faced any big problems till now except for a low speed problems in the begining of 2007 when they launched 2mpbs service. my modem is Huawei Quidway-WA1003A (wireless enabled modem).

i got my bsnl connection in 2006 and on my b'day(lucky me)

Please share your plan and modem details.

I have started using BSNL BB from April 2008, from the date of lunch of BSNL in my Place. I am the first BB customer of BSNL in my place. That time my plan was HOME UL 750, from 1st June I was in 1350UL Plus and this plan I used 4 - 5 month and then shifted to 500C+. and still I am using this plan.

Since June 2006 BB Unlimited Plus

It seems new comers are not aware of this forum.

Earlier i was using sify broadband then finally i got BSNL connection on18 sep 2008.startup plan was ul750.thn changed to 500 combo plan in jan.As huge bill came again shifted to ul750 .till now every thing is working fine .no such issue to complain about .quite satisfied with the connection

Sorry essbebe, never meant any harm. I am very new to IBF and enjoy it with all my heart.

My connection is a recent one and was curious to know what other choose and why. May be there are better plans and modems than mine. And everyday, i see a lot of post on modems and all. First i thought if you choose same connection, you will get the same modem. May be it is not like that.

As a new comer i thought people do not stick with BSNL, but if you see the poll results, it say otherwise. Every new user is curious about these details.

And friends please stick to the topic, don't get carried away with our pep talk.

I think it's good thread. Yes this thread it's just like survey but really new user or those who are thinking to choice BSNL BB they can at least get an idea that most user are using BSNL BB more than 1 year that mean BSNL is giving good service to the customer(at least forum members are getting good service).May be you can add some more question like "Which problem mostly you have faced in your connection ?" or something like that.Whatever be now it's a survey base thread and it's not totally useless thread because i don't think this section is only to discuss about personal BB related problem(speed related or modem setting etc).

Although i have BSNL BB connection for last seven month it's quite good only once i have faced minor billing mistake and speed problem before that in 2006 i also had BSNL BB connection that time i have used 4 month (finally that time I surrender BB due to some other reason).

i have my bsnl bb plan ul750+ and modam is dataone<bsnl> speed is 256kbps----no issue

S. I too had Billing related issues

my connetion is about 6 to 7 months old but i didn't have face any problem till now!!!!
