see this. If your Device status is same
Virtual server option not available. ( BSNL new model )
    http://i36.tinypic.com/2lizm2b.jpg

    After opening modem
    type 192.168.1.1/look.html
    post data here.

    If not available please mention.
    same as Beetel 220BX series.
Then you can try a FW update .

Or use DMZ option in "Dialer Mode "

i would be glad to know if upgrading firmware would bring virtual server option to a NAT-DMZ modem.. i wonder who would or has taken that risk

    @superprash2003
YOU Can DO IT ! own risk !

Please post data ( for your modem/router)
    192.168.1.1/look.html.
You get additional info to try firmware.

Usually we are told to update the firmware and
resulting upgrade shows a software version only.
For example see mine for beetel 110BX1
    wait

See FW version T2-OQ-007 gives version

Para two :CAUTION One user tried version for nonwifi
on a WIFI router and lost Wireless settings !

COMPARE Ut300r2u ( from my Archive)

i wonder who would or has taken that risk
I had tried and no problem in my modem.
Your objection could be for UT300R2U ( new).
As an experienced user , I feel you can try it.
Not only Virtual server also DDNS Client tr_069 etc
    menu pages will be added.

I'm currently away from home , will post details soon.. i was talking wrt the new ut300r2u which has 1usb and 1LAN..i mean things are fine actually , since having a good software firewall secures you , you really dont need a virtual server option . Im not very keen on doing it because i have an option. Although it would be a good thing to do for others( once tested ) as not many people around care about security ..
But i guess telling people to install a software firewall would be easier than telling them to upgrade their firmware to get virtual server option..
