please provide the complete information and issue, what problem you are facing while connecting to voice chat server and which client you are using.
which software u use for voice chat ?
yahoo or windows live messenger or google talk
best software for voice chat is skype,the voice clarity is excellent
in yahoo try voice conference if the voice call clarity isnt good
also the clarity of voice chat depends upon the sound card,microphone and speakers ,speed of ur internet connection
so make sure all these r good and use a good branded headshet cum microphone for voice chat
which plan are you using?
there are issues at times when VoIp or alike protocols are used since the delay and TTL issues assume great importance. i recommend that you find out the ports your particular software uses then login to your router and do port fwd/map. if this doesnt work post proper details and lets see how we can help you.

presume you were able to chat in Voice mode earlier.
1.Click the Volume control Icon in Task Bar.
2.Check Microphone is not muted.
3. If you are using Yahoo Messenger try the
Audio testing Wizard.Y
You should get display in the bar graphs.
4.Advanced :
Go to Device Manager.
Check up status of your sound cards.
enabled or not. Driver updates.
5. C:/Program files ( XP OS)
directx
setup
DxDiag
Test audio side..
6.Confirm you get the Loudspeaker output in computer.

hai friend thank for your suggestion. Actually the problem with soundcard, now i have replaced my soundcard and getting voice chat clearly. I've been using 500 plan.
