Thread: D-Link GLB-802c modem issues

I am having the following issues with my connection(Home 500 BSNL) and i think the modem is the culprit.

1. Frequent restarting(exactly after 5minutes, automatically)

Not able to port forward for torrent download through Bittorrent.

Please help.I am new to this field. I would require spoon feeding.

Usually for Intermittent connections GDMT mod mode is advised.
I give below the DLINKOfficial user manual , for router settings.
Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

Also I think, you need not use the BSNL supplied ADSL
splitter as the unit may have a inbuilt filter. One for Input to phone line and another for connection your telphone instrument.
try this and kindly give feedback.

you said the modem reboots automatically every 5 mins, does the Power LED also blink that time??

No the power led is steady

go to your modem settings and under STATUS post your SNR values
