Default Problem with Huawei WA1003A Wi-Fi CPE, USB Mode on Win XP +SP2

    Hi,

I am using DataOne broadband and I am facing a problem while connecting it to Internet.
I was able to connect to the internet till a few days back , recently my system crashed and I had to re-install the OS (winXp +SP2) , after that I had Installed the USB Driver from the CD provided by Huawei , I am trying to connect to the modem through USB , I have done all the necessary configrations as stated in their Configuration document, when I ping to 192.168.1.1 It is pinging back , also I am able to open the site 192.168.1.1 from the browser(IE 6, Mozilla FireFox 3)and I am able to Login using admin credentials, in the Home Page It shows the status as Connected , and when I click on Status-> Modem Status the US marging and DS Margin values are >10,when I click on Status->Connection Status it shows PVC0 as connected and the IP address has been assigned .
But when I open some site in the browser say google.com it says "The page cannot be displayed", the LED's in the modem blink at this time (indicating some negotiation) I am also not able to ping to any other sites .
When I look at the staus of the LAN2 connection it shows Status = Connected , and Packets are being sent and received.
I took the modem to the bsnl office and it was working fine there, also all the LEDs(ADSL ,Status USB) in the modem are glowing and are stable . And they are asking me to connect it through LAN and not USB, this involves additional hardware costs for me (LAN Card)
Please help me with resolving this issue as I was able to connect it to the internet from the USB(winXP +SP2) itself before. Due to the reinstallation of OS is there any component/driver missing which I have to install to resolve this?

If you can access the modem/router settings pages
    your USB driver is installed.
Usually gateway IP 192.168.1.2 is for USB mode .
    1.Please post ipconfig /all data.
    2.Are you using Dialer mode ( Bridged)or "always On " mode ?

    3. Also look at the support details in the Lan settings/status page. ( will show IP etc )

    Kindly post ipconfig /all data
( confirmed computer Internet connection is OK In LAN MODE)
    for computer with USB connection.

    The procedure for loading modem
    USB drivers( recommended )is :
1.Uninstall the usb driver if already installed.
2 Remove the usb cable from modem to computer
    3 Insert the cd.

4Copy the USB drivers to say C:/wa1003A usb driver.
    5Reconnect usb cable.
    6Restart the system

    7,let windows detect new Hardware.
    8 asks for drivers.
9 get it from location above. etc.

10 Now access modems settings and
    configure.
    Save and reboot.
    11. Internet connection : +ve or -ve feedback.
