Thread: problem with lan

hi friends,,,,

i use a h500c plan....whenever i boot my system .i get a message that my lan has limited or no connectivity,but still i am able to connect to internet.i try to repair and reinstalled the drivers too but no use.i am not able to access the modem through the web browser.do anyone have a idea on this.i use a iti dna-a211-1 modem purchased from bsnl

naveen, please post your ipconfig details.

Start> run> cmd> ipconfig/all and post the screen shot. Had a similar problem.

Presume you don't use dialer to connect. confirm.
Probably your modem has been set to "Always On" connection.

thank u for ur reply.....the problem got sorted out by pressing the reset button......after rebooting the modem,,,,,everything was back to normal

thank you.....as you said .... i have pressed the reset button..and after savig and rebooting the modem everything was back to normal,i am able to access the modem through my web browser.i use a dialer and my connection is not in "always on" mode.

make sure you are using a strong firewall.. dont depend on windows firewall..
