In the usage page also Your Plan does not appear , like in dataone usage portal for Ip 59.xx.xx.xx

Please APPLY well in advance for Tariff plan Change
and recheck usage data after 1st of following the month.
Speed verification is also possible., but not conclusive.

can ny one please through sum more light and guide me as i amplannin to change my my plan from 500c + to 500c i was suppose to submit the application today but couldnt due to sum work ,

now 2morow is sunday and 31`st is last working day of August shall i give them the application on Monday , what will happen if i do so ?? will they change my plan from 1st of september ??

or shall i wait for BSNL to annnounce new plans ?

m changing my plan from 500c+ to 500c coz i am not using net nowdays that frequently i normaly get bill of 750-800 PM
in 500c i`ll get bill of around 650 also 175 calls

You can give the application on 31st. Plan change takes almost a week.

I put in a request to change my plan from UL750 to 500C+ on the 23rd of september & was under the impression that the new plan would be in effect from the 1st of Oct as told by the operator who took my request. The same evening when I performed a speed test to my surprise I was getting 2 mbps on different sites. I thought it was a glitch and continued downloading as I used to in UL750 plan. I was cautious about the plan change and called today (25th Sep) and got the info that the plan change was done on 23rd itself within few hours. I was stunned to get different replies from the operators. I immediately checked the usage details and it was already 2.1 GB from 23rd -25th. Damn..! Now I have to restrict myself to night downloads. Also, as indicated in the Tariff Plans BSNL is not giving 256 kbps in 500C+ during the day but upto 512 Kbps or more so that the users fall prey to their cheap trick and get exhausted of their download quota resulting in overbilling. So according to the BSNL personnel the plan change is immediate....!

I think nowadays they changed the 1st of the month clause. The problem is that there is no facility to notify these internal changes. The same is the case with the calculation of 2 -8 am free slot. For some it detects every 30 minutes and in some case otherwise.

Requested for a plan change to UL1350 on 15th september.It hasn't been provisioned till now.How to get a confirmation that my plan has been changed?

Hey Hi i m using home 500 plan from 6 months but from last week my download speed is reduced to 30 kbps... i m getting max 30kbps...this is bullshit... pls help me what to do??

Try TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net

Go to speedtest.net, conduct a speed test and post the screen shot here.

Plan change necessarily need not happen on first. It normally happens the first week. Can you feel the difference in speed. Hope you are on 500 plans, then speed will decrease to 512 Kbps. Go to speedtest.net and check the speed.


If your IP starts with 117.xx.xx.xx, go to data.bsnl.in, under my orders, enter your phone no in the prescribed format and check your current status. Make a call to local exchange and check. Please do not start until you see provisioned in the portal. Never believe customer care.

Wait till it is provisioned. Make follow up calls to the BSNL office. Try to talk to the Senior Divisional Engineer (SDE).

Hey i want home 1000 is it still available or changed?? bcos it gives 320 KB/s and 5GB download...

There is nothing we can do. Wait till your portal shows provisioned. Make follow up calls.

Plan change happens only on 1st or later of every month. You can give an application now. As far as I know, current plans are intact. You can choose Home 1000. Please check with the local exchange.

Don't fall prey to such statements. Unless you plan is changed, you will charged according to your current plan. This forum is littered with posts which says they unknowingly used their current plan expecting it to become unlimited.

yes... y cant they change the plan.. its just a seconds of time to change..

In which portal do you check the status ? What does it show now ? Is it open for a future data ?
