Thread: Is there good Speed Update in H750+

Hello All
I want to know that is there speed upgraded in H750 + plan ?
My friend had H 250 plan and he changed it with 750UL+ plan.
yesterday his plan got activated and he is getting 218 Kbps download rate and 50 kbps upload rate.
Is it the temporary speed or is plan upgraded ?
He select the annual payment method and his father is Govt Servant and he is getting 20% discount too.
Is there any connection between these things.

I am waiting for reply

However I am waiting for tonight that his speed change or will he get the same high speed

You mean he is getting 218kBps and not just bits per second?
Well there are a lot of rumors that the speed will get upgraded and all, but I dont see it applied as of now. Maybe whatever happened with your friend is temporary.

There is no connection between the annual payment and the speeds.
By the way Does he get the same speed on an average basis or only during the intial phaze of the downloads. As per "kittoo4202004" quote - there is a differance between bits and bytes. If your friend gets 218kbps, then its a normal speed for UL750 connection. mention correctly the differance between b and B.

download speed 30 to 35 kb....That's better ....

my speeds have gone down from 2mbps to 256kbps , but the portal still shows home500

Update: it was second day and he is still getting 100 KB/s download rate on H750 UL +
I have checked his portal. Plan is H 750 UL+.
and he is getting a great speed. And one strange thing he is getting it on Intel Atom processor and paired motherboard.
on other PC he is unable to get this High speed but still getting 50-60 KB/s.
I will take his PC at my home and will check that isn't it hardware related effect.
I haven't sleep from two nights and researching on this issue on net.

I will be available with update in Saturday evening.

To my knowledge, there is no concession of 20% for unlimited plans.
It might be understanding mistake by local BSNL authorities. they may collect arrears any time
Once the Unlimited is taken, the speed is limited to 256Kbps only so what you get 218+50=268 appears very normal.

This may be the mistake made by the BSNL official. Be proactive on this or else they may charge him with huge bill by the end of this month for the bandwidth usage

did you applied any plan change to UL750?
