Thread: port forwarding in utorrent

i am using home plan 500c on pppoe
mine router is DSL 2640 T
i am downloading torrents through utorrent
i have a few queries
1. how much difference does port forwarding make in the download speed of a torrent.
2. Port Forwarding for the Dlink DSL-2640T
is this the procedure for port forwarding
any help will be appreciated

Port forwarding allows you to attain maximum speed by ensuring connections. But remember, the maximum speed will be limited to the maximum speed of your plan.

well i guess you have the solution in your own post.. you need port forwarding , so follow the link mentioned in your own post.. you would need static ip for this
