Default MT841 not able to change settings or reset

Hey Guys, I am in a great trouble here...
I have an Huawei SmartAX MT841 (type 3) ADSL router
the problem is that, when i change any setting, like add a NAT entry (to forward a port), i click on apply
for now the setting is implied, as soon as i click Save and Reboot, it gets back to what it was before and the NAT entry does not get added.
Likewise, when i change the password of the router (my custom pass) to something another and click on apply > save and reboot, its reboots but the pass remains unchanged.

I have tried reset 10-15 times it is not working.
    Please help!

Default MT841 access modem pages RESET switch

i am not able to reset its settings
can you access the modem pages ?

    What you need ?
    (A) Change(reset) settings and
(B)RESET from modem maintenence or tools
(C)Externally by pressing the switch in the rear /
    to Factory defaults.

telnet your router? what do you mean by that? you mean access you're router by telnet? if yes then if you can access WEBui, then you would be able to access telnet too..why can't you access telnet? when you access telnet what happens?
and the default settings are these:

ya either it is a bug in vista or some extra security features in vista....any solution to overcome this??
