| If you want wireless connection then you need type II or III or IV modem. I think ut300r2u is type I modem so by this modem you can connect BB in your pc or laptop only through LAN or USB. |

Rep Power: 12 | If the present modem is on rent ask BSNL for a Type IV ( 3-in -0ne ) modem+router+WIFI like WA3002-g4 or semIndia DNA211-I or Siemens sl2_141 on rent Purchase cost Rs 1600/= If purchased out right earlier, buy a WIFI router such as Netgear WGR614-V6 ( almost same cost ) If you want to move about in the house, to use the Laptop then you need a wifi router. Else you can use the present modem's LAN port to laptop and USB port to Desktop and surf Internet. see for some of the modems/routers supplied by BSNL ( list not updated) http://www.calcuttatelephones.com/da...tall/menu.html |
