Thread: What About the New BB plans??

Dear friends! There is many threads in the forum which describe the new tentative BB plans for 2009 and many of the senior members of the forum said that the new plans will be implemented in the month of April. It is 6th April but still now no announcement for the new BB plans for the financial year 2009 - 2010. Do you people have any idea about the implementation of the new plans???

People keep predicting. But it never comes.

Hope we will get something better next year.

i too told that in April or May :001_huh:, it may come but it didnt ill confirm with my friend in BSNL and will update...

the good news this year might be that bsnl will not implement the fup policy....:14:....great news isnt it?

BSNL gives new plans for allmost all the services, they are providing but they are silent, particularly for BB service? Why????????

May be they will come up with big surprise for the customers. Dont know when it gonna blast

There was no official statement tat there will be new plans in aprl or that it will be made every yr in apl, then i wonder how come so many expect BSNL to provide newer ones...

I agree that but it becomes an usual practice that every year they will come up with newer plans. Airtel announced their 16Mbps plan. I am sure that BSNL also will come up with a better plan.

Now may be after election when new Govt will be created then BSNL can announce few new plan but all we are predicting that nothing official.

Oh I do hope. as far as I remember, there has been only one price revision so far.... if u compare the plan price/Data limit....

In 2005 , I paid 500 and got only 1 GB limit and now I am getting 2.5 GB limit.

But these days they are only implementing new plans at various costs 250,300,150 etc instead of incresing the BW limit, which is what we really want.

Also newer plans with higher speed & cost for the same LOW BW is as good as useless....

Today, there was some announcement on optimized post paid plans. But no mention about Broadband.

It says due to lot of complaints, we are changing postpaid plans to a cheaper tariff . I think it is time for us to flood bsnl with complaints

Any new broadband plans for trail period in kolkatta circle recently?

I heard like mostly they will start implementing new plans from kolkatta circle only.

really?? maybe temporary offers.. if they are going to start a plan for good , then it usually would be for the whole of India

As rupu1983 said, because of the elections and code of conduct and all that jazz, new plans may not be announced. Will have to wait for the elections and then see.

Yes we have to wait for the new plans and offcourse BSNL does not promise anything to implement any new plan for the year 2009 - 10. But I think the election and code of conduct is not hampering the implementation of new plans. As BSNL has implementated many new plans for their many services during this period of code of conduct, e,g Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd- Latest News which is implemented on 1st April Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd- Latest News, 31 - 03 - 2009 etc. etc. I think Only a good "WILL" is required from BSNL side to implement new BB plans
