    Default BSNL Fair use policy??

    Do you guys know of any fair use police in use by BSNL?I was asking because my download speeds dropped by 50% for all torrent DL after downloading around 15GB in one week.
    will they reset my bandwith to 512kbps(home 1350ul) if i ask them.If any of you have faced this prob and had it rectified pls share your exp with me.

    i dont think there is fup for bsnl..


    ya for some day the speed is varying,,,

    even thats so .. have u finished all bandwidth within 7 days ? (thjis month quota )

    download a http file...

    I have the unlimited plan(1350homeUL) which romises speed of 512kbps.I dont think there is any quota.If you know customer service helpline no please post

    try downloading a file from download.com

    or try Airtel


    or

    the speedtest.net

    and report back how much you get ...

    I tried to download http file as sugessted by you and got full speed ,so the problem seems to be with torrents only.
    I use utorrent so any suggestions as to the the setttings to check(incase i have inadverntly changed speed settings or limited up;oad limits)

    if you are using a public tracker ( hope you now wht a public tracker is .... dont take me in a wrong sense .. please )

    the speed are not that great in public tracker and try downloading from demonoid.com or other private trackers.. the speed are awesome...

    even i had a problem..with torrents intially ...


    try also to open half connection ( google )

    and also try port forwarding .. ( but dont try that demilitarizing zone - port forward , since many say it aint safe )

    two instances --
    me and my friend downloaded 150 gigs each in last two months at the speed of 200kBps with home500...this month both of us have speeds limited to 140 - 150kBps.
    anyone?
