Question Modem compatibility

Hi all,

I need all the halp I can get with this issue thats been eating my head for so long.

I have shortlisted 4 ADSL modem cum Wifi routers for my BSNL broadband network at home.. models are-

1)Netgear Rangemax DG834N Wireless N router with built in DSL modem
2)Netgear DGN2000 Wireless N router with built in DSL modem
3)Netgear DG834Gv5 wireless G router with built in DSL modem
4)Linksys WAG160N Wireless -N ADSL2 modem-router

Now.. my main query is- are these models compatible with BSNL broadband?

secondly, I went to the BSNL office in Mysore, and asked them about the Type IV modem - they said type II & Type IV modems were out of stock.. and will be for some time to come. So that rules out getting a cheaper modem

Are there any other alternatives?.. I want an ADSL modem cum Wifi router with 4 LAN ports, so that I can hookup my VoIP and also a few other devices..

you dont need a modem from your ISP if your buying any one of those routers mentioned.. im not sure about the 4th one .. but the first three sure would work..
