Default bridge to dial ??

plz help ..

now my modem is in bridge mode.. i.e i simply put on modem to connect to internet.. but i want to change dis to dial mode.. how can i do dis ?? is der ne settings in router site tat i shud change ?? plz help me !!

That means you are in pppoe mode currently as in bridge mode you have dial after putting the modem on.

Yeah i also suppose he meant that he is in PPPoE mode currently ............... as if in bridge mode one needs to dial ............

bridged mode = dial mode.. your in pppoe mode as mentioned above.. you need to give your modem model no

o ho.. sorry .. i thot bridge mode means one need to put on modem.. my router model is UT300R2U..

The little I know about Dataone Broadband Services offered by BSNL

If you understand this
(a)To get connected ONLY if you "Dial" select
"Bridged" in WAN page Save REBOOT
You have to use a Dialer to connect.


(b) You want to be connected to Internet ,
immediately ,after
the computer and modem are switched on
Uncheck "bridged" select PPP/PPPoE
enter ID ( without @bsnl.in ) PW
etc.
2.
Probably you will come up with a query
about downloading automatically
during 0200AM and 0800AM !
