Hi,

Just checked the speed on speedtest.net. (screen shots attached).

Which is the most reliable one? Please suggest.

I use UL - 750, 256 kbps.

1.Speed shown during
Downloads from Microsoft web sites ( servers)
generally considered to be most reliable.

2.Test at Speedtest.net at different servers
say Male and New York will show different results.
Each test approx 16MB data used
You are on U/L plan. so no need to bother . !

3.Many Bandwidth meters show speed
in graphical form D/L and U/L.
I use Tweakdun 2.2 free version.

4.Downloading applications/programs
with Download Managers also show
varying speeds from the web sites.

thank you for the nice info. I use bitmeter and it shows 30KBps.

most of the time speed test shows accurate

i guess the best way is to just download a file..

Here are the results from different servers. While downloading a file, i get 28-34 KBps (IDM).
