Thread: Getting v low speed.... Suggestions needed

hello friends,
This is only my 2nd post to this forum... i hv taken BB home 250 plan before 13 days.... and currently its a 15 day free trial period running... since the day i got connection, the download speed that i m getting from any site is just maximum 15 to 20 kbps and that too with Download Accelerator Plus 9.1 version..( its very strange..) i feel like i m using a dial -up connection....i presented my problem to my local BSNL telephone exchange also.... the BSNL person tried his best.... he checked my dowlnoad speed from their exchange by directly connecting a laptop with my telephone line....still the speed we got was the same... he changed my port too....but it didn't help.... at last he said, there is no solution to this problem( strange answer...!!!!) and he cant do anything...
and i m thinking to throw my connection back at them and ask them to refund my modem amount Rs. 1050. ( I purchased modem from them).

My PC configuration is latest : intel Core to duo processor 2.8 Ghz, 2 GB RAM,250 GB hard disk space. I have installed Gurdian antivirus license version which is a quick heal product and its updated till date.

i just bought my PC 10 days back.

Please give me ur suggestions what should i do...? should i continue with my connection hoping for improvement in speed ? Plz reply

What about others in your area. Please check the speed they get. Are they having the same problem?

Try to change the plan 250 from 700 (4GB)
May be u r speed will increase.

better to close ur connection these hopelessly insane BSNL CC wont help u.
